     Since changing the exhaust or intake is often accompanied by a change in the engine control software in the newer computer controlled vehicles - through cooperation with a renowned company in the chiptuning- ALTA-RACING, we extended our offer of professional chiptuning of the computer controlling the engine (software conversion) especially -- ECU through the OBD diagnostic connector.

     Computer called the ECU - Engine Control Unit "responsible for the performance of the engine under all conditions of speed and load. Operating parameters are stored in a chart form and are placed in memory of the ECU.

     The contact with the car is only through a single cable - connected through the OBD diagnostic connector without soldering, gluing, etc., which is very important for cars that are still under warranty. Each of our customers can select the program (SOFT or SPORTS), adapted to their requirements for car dynamics and power, as well as the technical condition and mileage of the car.

     The new software builds on the best quality products of renowned Western producers, who have been engaged in chiptuning for years, with the greatest experience in this industry.

     We offer a "safe tuning" - raising power and torque within reason, so that used cars will still be characterized by problem-free exploitation.

     Turbocharged engines currently produced have very high mechanical efficiency. That is why they react well to improving the factory performance without the reduction of their longevity. The modification carried out by us is using the reserve for the type of engine, for example, modern TDI engines have a reserve of around 30% of the factory power. In addition, the very settings in your computer will not cause a drastic straining of the engine in high gear that would torture it.

      Tuning driver software is only done by shifting the curves of power / torque to the left side, ie the specified power is achieved at lower engine speeds. To give you a better idea I will provide an example:
- Normal driving in a 90-hp Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDI , before tuning, takes place by pressing the gas pedal to half or 3 / 4 of its capacity.
- Dynamic driving often requires flooring it.

     After chiptuning: 120-HP Ibiza is hardly the same car:
- Normal driving requires "brushing" the gas pedal, sometimes 1 / 3 capacity,
- Driving dynamic - requires just the gas pedal to be pushed to a half of its capacity

     After pressing the gas pedal 3 / 4 or flooring it with the formerly 90-hp humble Ibiza becomes a real GTI. Thanks to more engine power and lower doses of the gas pedal - the auto surprises us in a pleasant way by burning up to 1 litre of gas less per 100km. Everything was tested on a car of ours, which we were able to drive for several thousand kilometers.

      How we do it - step by step:

- The first step is to conduct an interview and conversation with the customer, his expectations of the revised technical condition and mileage.
- The second step - to download the engine factory software driver with OBD diagnostic connector.
- The third stage is a modification of the software carried out by an experienced specialist - a professional programmer in charge of chiptuning.
- The fourth step is to load a new, modified program via the diagnostic connector to the computer of the car.
- The final step is a test drive with an acceleration meter and checking the car with the dynamometer.
 


     The original program is kept by us in the archive store, we give it to the Customer upon request on a CD-ROM. It is possible to reset the settings to normal, for free, at any time - important when selling the car.
